PTSD Clinical Trials & Treatment
In Independence OH

This PTSD Research Study is exploring whether an investigational medication may help lower the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder. It targets areas of the brain involved in mood, the stress response, and how the mind processes fear and painful memories. Each participant is assigned by chance to one of three groups, with some receiving the study drug and others receiving a placebo (an inactive capsule with no medication).
For many people with PTSD, symptoms like intrusive memories, disturbed sleep, anxiety, and feeling emotionally shut down can interfere with daily life, even during treatment. Researchers want to learn whether this medication can ease these symptoms and improve wellbeing for people in Independence and Cleveland, OH.
